Jaljeera (Cumin-Spiced Digestive Drink)

2 cups chilled water

1 tsp roasted cumin powder

1/2 tsp black salt

1/2 tsp amchur (dry mango powder)

Juice of 1 lemon

8–10 mint leaves

Ice cubes

  1. Blend all ingredients except ice. Strain if needed.
  2. Pour into glasses with ice. Garnish with mint or boondi.

1 cup mango pulp (fresh or canned)

1 cup chilled yogurt

2 tbsp sugar or honey

A pinch of cardamom powder

Ice cubes (optional)

  1. Blend mango, yogurt, sugar, and cardamom till smooth.
  2. Serve chilled in glasses. Garnish with chopped pistachios or saffron.

Ingredients:

1 cup plain curd

2 cups cold water

1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

Salt to taste

1 tbsp chopped coriander

1 green chili (optional)

  1. Blend curd with water until smooth.
  2. Add salt, spices, coriander. Mix well.
  3. Serve chilled, optionally strain if smooth texture is preferred.
