🍳Fried Rice – Indian Masala Style

Indian Masala Fried Rice is a quick and flavorful dish made with leftover rice, colorful veggies, and bold Indian spices. Perfect for lunch or dinner in under 20 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold/leftover)

  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrot, capsicum, peas)

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 tomato, chopped

  • 1 green chili, chopped

  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • Coriander to garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

  2. Add onion and green chili. Sauté till soft.

  3. Add veggies, turmeric, salt, and cook for 3–5 minutes.

  4. Add tomatoes and cook till soft.

  5. Add rice, garam masala, and mix gently.

  6. Cook 2–3 mins, garnish with coriander, and serve hot.
