1 cup yellow moong dal (soaked 4 hrs)

1 green chili

½ inch ginger

2 tbsp chopped onion

Salt, turmeric

Oil for cooking

  1. Blend soaked dal with chili and ginger.
  2. Mix chopped onion, salt, turmeric.
  3. Pour batter on a hot tawa; cook on both sides with oil.
  4. Serve hot with chutney.

1 cup thick poha

1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot

Mustard seeds, curry leaves

Salt, turmeric, lemon juice

  1. Rinse poha and let it rest.
  2. Heat oil, temper mustard seeds, curry leaves, and onions.
  3. Add carrots, spices; cook.
  4. Add poha, mix well, squeeze lemon juice. Serve.

1 cup rava (sooji)

1 chopped onion

Mustard seeds, green chili, ginger

Water, salt, curry leaves

  1. Roast rava dry till light golden.
  2. In a pan, temper mustard seeds, onions, ginger.
  3. Add water and salt. Once boiling, add rava slowly.
  4. Stir until thickened. Serve hot.
